Today's Basic Finance lecture was on future value, annuities and its calculation. Sounds familiar? Rings a bell in your head??? For those who knows what i'm talking about DO NOT LAUGH! Well for those who do not know what i'm talking about... it's kindda like back to insurance kind of thing. And I seriouly hate those calculation and having have to stare at the small printed fingures for the calculation of future values. Sobs. In life, somehow the things that you don't like will just keep popping up at you without warning and you will have no choice but to accept it.

Finally completed my FINAL report for ORGCOMM "Minutes of the Meeting". Hopefully there will be no more of this minutes meeting report for me to do. This topic sux to me. Having to have a "meeting" in school with a given topic by my teacher and discuss about it for at least ONE HOUR, with my teacher sitting in with my group, quietly observing how we handle the meeting and grading each of us on our clarity and points spoken, can be Stressful to me. Especially when I'm being appointed as a secretary by my group members... I've to sit at my laptop for HOURS after the meeting, writing the minutes of the meeting in reported speech and using third person words, typing out important points of what everybody said in the so called "meeting". AND I've to submit it to my teacher withinn 24 HOURS of the meeting. TORTURE!!! (I've my panda eyes to prove it.)

For people in real working life having to experience what i'm going thorugh, you have my pity and understanding. BUT AT LEAST YOU DON NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT NOT SPECIFICALLY FOLLOWING THE FORMAT OF THE MINUTES AND HAVING MARKS OR POINTS DEDUCTED FOR WRONG FORMAT.

Term test and church meeting coming up (Being a JY cgl/teacher isn't easy). Busy period for me. Prays hard that i'll do well in my term test. I shall start by being more hard working now since term test is coming soon. I'll put hatrate for my subjects and course aside and try to absorb whatever needs to be abosrbs into my brain.

That was where I had my first mini birthday celebration for the day. Julia and Eunice got me a cake and sang me a birthday song (Picture not given to me yet). After that Julia and Eunice gave me my birthday gift - A pair of earrings from Julia, and from Eunice, a birthday card (and the day before, HAMSTERS!!) =D

Then came the surprise from a girl with full of tricks... Pui Kwan sms me about 9++ at night- just after my cell group meeting finished. She sms me saying...


"Sally.. You got calculator? I cannot find mine. I need to borrow your calculator to do my maths."


And me thinking that she really cannot find her calculator, went to me her at around 10pm at the entrance of my block with my calculator. = s That was when she said...

"Actually I call you down not because I wanted your calculator. Happy Birthday!!!"


and surprise me my birthday gift that she was hiding behind her back. Sounds like i'm a bit blur not to realize her real motive. Haha... but anyway to the girl with so much surprises thanks for that surprise. And of course not forgetting the people who bought for me the gift - Audrey, Shalee, Lisa, Nette and Puik. Thanks a lot!!! =D

My 2nd lesson of Basic Finance today... The majority in my class has taken accounts before. So the explanation my teacher gave was very brief and quite fast. Sadly, I've forgotten most of my accounts already. So when we were asked to do the tutorial, I found myself a bit lost... Cos I've forgotten even the basics of my accounts. I spent most of my time pondering... Is Vehicles under Fixed or current assets... And which ones are in the profit and loss a/c...

Well at the end of the day... I must say those who didn't had any accounting background did better than me. Think it's because they paid better attention than me during the lecture and notes given. Must really buck up on my accounts, if not it will be quite embarassing... Lol =x

So is there anyone who did accounts in Secondary school and is still keeping their red in colour thinck Principles Of Accounting book? I think I need to read up on my basics all over again =_= Sounds a bit boring, but hopefully will be useful in the future... Lolx

Today is the day I dread most - My 3 hours break... Dunno what to do during this 3 hours... So i'm here blogging... LoL... One of my friend has already told me that she's going to gimme a pet hamster for my birthday =D I'm really looking forward for the hamster. Right now i'm looking for a place to put the hamster in my house... I've more or less decided on a place but that place will need some clearing up.

During one of my lectures today my teacher was talking about the Fleming rule thing to see where the direction of the electromagnetic field is flowing... Sounds familiar??? Of course it does...!!! Unless you tell me you didn't study Physics during your secondary days...

Remember our secondary school teachers teaching us how to use our left hand for the Fleming's rule... Haha... Those were the days. Unfortunately that was one of the topics that I dislike in my Physics. Maybe that's why when my teacher was going through the Fleming's rule with us, I don't remember how to use my left hand to see the direction of where the electromagnetic field is flowing... Are there still people out there who still remember that Fleming's rule and how to use it? If you know it, TEACH ME!!! Haha. If there is really nobody who knows or remember how to use it, then I'll have to go home or spend my time in the bus turning or twisting my left hand to slowly try to recall how to use that Fleming's rule. LoL. Hope there will be people out there who can help me make my life less miserable~

There's going to be an Anime & Manga event, organized by my school at Sentosa (Siloso) Beach on the 17th Nov, 9.30am... Not sure if its open to people outside TP... But if it is, I'll let you know (especially anime fans like nette and xue ni)... =D
